WHAT IS "LA MAROMA"?

("Maroma" is an spanish term for pirouette)

Participatory Cinema Workshop that shares the audiovisual tools with children and teenagers, especially with those from 'vulnerable' contexts. Our aim is to provide technical and narrative knowledge so children can reappropriate the cinematographic language and tell the stories that are important to them, dignifying their way of seeing the world through an autonomous process and a creative experimentation.

“La Maroma” is an independent project based in Mexico, which vision is to positively impact in the social and creative skills of children.
