SOCIAL INTERVENTION

THROUGH ART

During five weeks, 10 local and international artists walked and observed the social dynamics in the Flores Magón quarter in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México.

As guests who slowly went on to know the neighbors, their stories, and circumstances, we aimed to create illustrations, poems, photographs, installations in the streets, and art workshops for children.

After concluding these adventures, the locals perspective upon their place remained similar, but with a subtle change: that art can empower narratives and make the ordinary into something extraordinary.
